It Must Be Heaven

E.S. (Elia Suleiman) leaves Palestine with a film project to pitch and travels to Paris and then New York, watching each city from a seat or a doorway. Suleiman speaks almost no dialogue, and in every place he lands he finds echoes of the home he left. What he risks is the search itself: a man looking for somewhere else to belong, with nothing to show for it but his own homeland, returned to him in other cities.
