It Takes Two

“Two identical strangers. Two different worlds. One perfect match.”

At a summer camp, two nine-year-olds turn out to look exactly alike. Amanda Lemmon (Mary-Kate Olsen) is an orphan, and Alyssa Callaway (Ashley Olsen) is the daughter of a wealthy father, Roger (Steve Guttenberg). Andy Tennant sends the girls swapping places to bring Roger together with Diane Barrows (Kirstie Alley), the social worker who looks after Amanda and who is plainly fond of her.
