Giulia De Martino (Matilda De Angelis) is seventeen and wants a place in the GT Championship, the way her father Mario has always wanted it for her. Matteo Rovere, loosely drawing on the true story of rally driver Carlo Capone, follows her as the people who taught her to drive start to fall away. Her brother Loris (Stefano Accorsi) and her father's old orbit pull at her from different sides, and each of them wants a seat in her car.
