Itinerary of a Spoiled Child

Sam Lion (Jean-Paul Belmondo) was a foundling raised in the circus, and a trapeze accident turned him into a businessman. At fifty he is tired of his responsibilities and of his son Jean-Philippe, so he decides to disappear at sea. Claude Lelouch sends him straight into Albert Duvivier (Richard Anconina), a former employee he once fired, and Sam begins to see what he has let slip.
