It's a Hard Life

Luciano Bianchi (Ugo Tognazzi) leaves his wife and son in the small town of Guastalla, where he runs cultural initiatives at a mining plant, and heads for the city. Carlo Lizzani adapts Luciano Bianciardi's novel and follows him through its streets, Anna (Giovanna Ralli) and a ballad singer (Enzo Jannacci) turning up along the way. At the end of the day he is a bookish man with a bag, still moving.
