It's Complicated

“First comes marriage. Then comes divorce. And then...”

Ten years after her divorce, Jane Adler (Meryl Streep) has a bakery, three grown children, and a house she is thinking of renovating with an architect, Adam (Steve Martin). Then the family gathers for a son's college graduation, and she ends up in bed with her ex-husband Jake (Alec Baldwin), who is married to someone else. Nancy Meyers fills the film with kitchens and warm light, and Jane stands in her own, flour on her hands.
