Ivko's Feast

Ivko (Zoran Cvijanović) wants to give his saint's day feast the way it has always been given in Niš, with the table full and every guest sent home fed. The year is the late nineteenth century, the town newly free of Turkish rule, and Zdravko Šotra adapts Stevan Sremac's 1895 book. Kalča (Dragan Bjelogrlić) and the other guests sit down to see how far Serbian hospitality will stretch.
