Jack the Giant Slayer

(2013)Directed by Bryan Singer114 min · PG-13Fantasy, Action, Adventure
“Prepare for a giant adventure”

A young farmhand named Jack (Nicholas Hoult) opens a gateway between our world and a race of giants, and the beanstalk that follows carries Princess Isabelle (Eleanor Tomlinson) up into their territory. King Brahmwell (Ian McShane) sends Elmont (Ewan McGregor) and a party after her, with Roderick (Stanley Tucci) among them. Bryan Singer stages the climb and the war that follows as a big, loud fairy tale built for a crowd.
