Jackie Brown

“This Christmas, Santa's got a brand new bag.”

Jackie Brown (Pam Grier) is a flight attendant, and she wants out of a dead-end job that pays her next to nothing. She's caught carrying cash into the country for the gunrunner Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson), and the police want her to help them take him down. Tarantino adapts Elmore Leonard's novel, and Jackie works out how to play both sides with a bail bondsman's help.
