Jacquot
In Nantes, a small boy grows up between his father's garage and his mother's hair salon. Jacquot (played across his childhood and adolescence by Philippe Maron, Edouard Joubeaud and Laurent Monnier) is drawn to the cinema and the puppet theatre, and he sets out to become a filmmaker. Agnès Varda, who was married to the real Jacques Demy, tells it as his own memory of how a child's obsession becomes a life's work.
