François Perrin (Patrick Bruel) is a Paris good-for-nothing who gets by on very little, and he has no use for the shaman (Harrison Lowe) who stares at him in a hotel elevator and follows him home. Francis Veber sets the odd pair against a rain forest man's visit to France, a public relations campaign, and a heart attack that leaves one of them in a hospital bed asking for the other. Perrin stands in the doorway of the ward, reluctant, while the old man waits.
