Jailbait

“Innocent. Guilty.”

Anna Nix (Sara Malakul Lane) is sent to juvenile prison for killing her abusive stepfather, and the all-girls jail she enters runs on its own rules. Jared Cohn puts her among cellmates like Kody (Erin O'Brien), Genie (Jennifer Robyn Jacobs) and Jane (Samantha Cardona), where friendships, drugs and mental illness pull at her from every side. Under all of it is a plain question: how a girl who has already killed her stepfather finds a way back to herself.
