James and the Giant Peach

“Adventures this big don't grow on trees.”

James Henry Trotter (Paul Terry), an orphan living with his two cruel aunts, Spiker (Joanna Lumley) and Sponge (Miriam Margolyes), wants out of the house and a life of his own. A bag of crocodile tongues from the Magic Man (Pete Postlethwaite) spills, and a giant peach rolls free with him inside. Henry Selick builds the insect crew from stop-motion, and the oversized Grasshopper (Simon Callow) is the first to treat James like a friend.
