James White

“Sometimes we choose our path. Sometimes our path chooses us.”

James White (Christopher Abbott) spends his nights in New York going from one bad decision to the next, until his mother Gail (Cynthia Nixon) falls seriously ill and the care lands on him. Josh Mond keeps the camera tight on James as the hospital visits pile up and the partying gets harder to keep up. He is a man who has never had to hold anything steady, and the film waits to see if he can.
