Jane Eyre

Jane Eyre (Samantha Morton) leaves a bleak childhood behind to take a post as governess at Thornfield Hall. The house belongs to Edward Rochester (Ciarán Hinds), a dark, abrupt man who gives her little warmth at first. Robert Young's television adaptation follows Jane as friendship turns to love, and she finds, for the first time in her life, that she is happy.
