Japanese Story

“Some stories can change your life.”

Sandy Edwards (Toni Collette), a geologist in Western Australia, wants one thing from her work, which is to be left alone to do it. Instead she is ordered to drive Hiromitsu Tachibana (Gotaro Tsunashima), a Japanese businessman she finds arrogant and impossible to read, into the Pilbara desert. Sue Brooks sends them out together, each as irritated by the other as they are alone with the country around them.
