Je Tu Il Elle

Julie (Chantal Akerman) wants to be somewhere other than the room she is in, so after a breakup she empties it, pushing her furniture aside and staying put. Chantal Akerman directs and stars, and the film follows Julie out of the room and into a truck cab beside a driver (Niels Arestrup), then toward a former lover (Claire Wauthion). Julie keeps moving because stopping would mean sitting inside the loss.
