Trish (Gina Philips) and Darry (Justin Long) are driving home for spring break when they spot a body dumped from a truck on a rural highway. The truck returns, chasing them down the empty road with methodical intent. The Creeper (Jonathan Breck) traps them in a small town by nightfall where bodies start turning up and they glimpse what he really is.
