Jeffrey (Steven Weber) has sworn off sex in New York. His fear of AIDS has grown so large that celibacy feels like the only safe choice. Days after he announces it, he meets Steve Howard (Michael T. Weiss), a handsome man who is everything he wanted, except that Steve is HIV-positive. Christopher Ashley adapts Paul Rudnick's play, and Jeffrey turns to his friend Sterling (Patrick Stewart) and a priest, Father Dan (Nathan Lane), for advice about Steve.
