Jem and the Holograms

“Every generation needs a voice”

Jerrica Benton (Aubrey Shea) is a shy small-town girl who posts a video of herself singing under the name Jem, and it spreads far past anything she planned. Jon M. Chu follows her and her three sisters, Kimber (Stefanie Scott), Aja (Hayley Kiyoko) and Shana (Aurora Perrineau), as the video turns four aspiring musicians into a band the world wants to hear. For Jerrica, the risk is whether her own voice survives once everyone is listening.
