Jerichow

Thomas (Benno Fürmann) comes home to a small town in Northern Germany with a dishonourable discharge from Afghanistan and no money, and he needs work. Ali Özkan (Hilmi Sözer), a Turkish entrepreneur who drinks too much, hires him as a deliveryman and brings him into a household that includes Ali's wife, Laura (Nina Hoss). Petzold gives the three of them very little room, and Thomas keeps drifting toward the one thing he has not earned.
