“He wanted it all...but he got more than he bargained for.”

Ollie Trinke (Ben Affleck) is a smooth-talking New York music publicist with a new wife and a baby on the way. Then he is suddenly a single father with a defunct career, moving back in with his own dad, Bart (George Carlin). Kevin Smith keeps the story close to Ollie and his daughter Gertie (Raquel Castro), the two of them side by side in a small New Jersey house.
