Jinpa
Jinpa (Jinpa) drives his truck alone across the empty Kekexili plateau, a man who wants little beyond the next stretch of road. Then he picks up a hitchhiker (Genden Phuntsok) with a silver dagger at his belt, who says he is going to kill the man who murdered his father. Pema Tseden, adapting two Tibetan novels, films the journey in spare, patient takes that leave the land as quiet as the men.
