Jitterbugs

“This is that movie about those people.”

Ollie (Oliver Hardy) wants to keep the Zoot Suit Band working, and Stan (Stan Laurel) goes along, even when the work turns out to be fronting a scam selling "gasolene pills" in wartime America. Malcolm St. Clair sets the pair loose among the swindlers and the crowds who believe them. Then they meet Susan Cowan (Vivian Blaine), whose family has been cheated out of $10,000, and the two decide to help her.
