Every six years, an ancient order of jiu-jitsu fighters gathers to defend the planet against a vicious race of alien invaders. Jake (Alain Moussi), a celebrated war hero, goes down in defeat, and with Wylie (Nicolas Cage) and Kueng (Tony Jaa) among those who fight on, the fate of mankind is left hanging. Dimitri Logothetis cuts the fights fast and tight, keeping the film at a run from the first bout to the last.
