“Committing a crime is easy. Hiding a body is murder.”
A man is dead, and the playwright Antoine Brisebard (Louis de Funès) is the one who shot him, a blackmailer who had been leaning on him. Now Antoine has to hide the body while his wife Sylvie (Claude Gensac) and Inspecteur Ducros (Bernard Blier) are both close enough to notice. Jean Girault keeps the camera on Antoine as he sweats and invents the next small lie.
