Joe's Apartment

“Sex, Bugs, and Rock 'n Roll.”

Joe (Jerry O'Connell) arrives in New York wanting only a place of his own, and the apartment he finds is run-down and already occupied. A couple thousand cockroaches live there, and they sing and dance, and they can talk, though they usually keep quiet because people smush first and ask questions later. John Payson turns that crowd into a chorus, and the film is plainly about the odd family you end up with when you move in.
