John and Mary

John (Dustin Hoffman) goes to a singles bar wanting company for the night, and he finds Mary (Mia Farrow) there. They sleep together, and the next day is spent working out who the other person actually is. Peter Yates keeps them in the morning-after hours, where each has to decide whether to trade names and histories for a relationship that lasts past evening.
