Johnny Dangerously

“Organized crime has never been this disorganized!”

Johnny Dangerously (Michael Keaton) is a decent, good-natured kid who takes up crime to pay his mother's ever-growing medical bills. His mother (Maureen Stapleton) is neurotic and always needs more, and the work puts him on the wrong side of Vermin (Joe Piscopo) and in the orbit of Dundee (Peter Boyle) and Lil (Marilu Henner). Amy Heckerling plays the gangster picture dead straight, so the jokes land in the flat, serious delivery.
