Johnny Mad Dog

Johnny Mad Dog (Christopher Minie) is a boy with a rifle, leading a unit of child soldiers for the LURD rebels, and he wants the one thing the war can give him: a name that people fear. Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire, adapting Emmanuel Dongala's novel, sets the story in Liberia in 2003 and casts unknown performers. Alongside Johnny, Laokole (Daisy Victoria Vandy) is caught in the same war, and he keeps moving toward whatever he can take.
