Joker: Folie à Deux

“The world is a stage.”

Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) sits in Arkham State Hospital awaiting trial, and the songs he has never sung aloud start to come out of him. In the ward he meets Lee Quinzel (Lady Gaga), a fellow inmate, and Todd Phillips turns their first conversations into duets. As the trial opens, Arthur sees that Lee and the crowds outside want the Joker, and he has to decide whether to give them the man he has been hiding behind.
