Jolly Fellows

Kostya Potekhin (Leonid Utyosov) is a shepherd who gets mistaken for a famous international concert star, and he goes along with it. The mix-up carries him from Odessa to Moscow and into the front of a jazz band, with Grigori Aleksandrov staging the whole trip as a string of comic musical numbers. Kostya keeps up the act mostly for Anyuta (Lyubov Orlova), the housemaid he has fallen for, who is the one person he most wants to impress.
