Joni's Promise

“In a city that never stops, he never slows down. Meet Jakarta's fastest courier.”

In Jakarta, Joni (Nicholas Saputra) works as a delivery man who carries film reels from one movie theater to the next. He promises Angelique (Mariana Renata), a young woman he has just met, that the next reel will reach its screen on time. Joko Anwar sends him out across the city, a man with a heavy canister, a motorbike and the clock against him.
