Journey to a Mother's Room

Leonor (Anna Castillo) packs up and leaves home for the first time, and her mother Estrella (Lola Dueñas) is left in a house with a bedroom nobody sleeps in. Celia Rico Clavellino stays inside the rooms and the small routines that now have one person fewer to fill them. What the film holds onto is the thin line between mother and daughter, kept up by calls and by all that goes unsaid.
