(1976)Directed by Ola Solum92 minAdventure, Fantasy, Family

Sonja (Hanne Krogh) is a little girl who sets out alone to find the Christmas Star. Her search leads her into a fairy-tale kingdom, where she meets the King (Knut Risan), the Queen (Bente Børsum) and Princess Gulltopp (Ingrid Larsen). Ola Solum made this his first feature as director, and Norwegian television has shown it every Christmas Eve since, so Sonja's search is one many families know by heart.
