(2012)Directed by Nils Gaup80 minFantasy, Adventure, Family

Sonja (Vilde Zeiner), thirteen and kind-hearted, rides into a tiny village with a company of bandits, just as a curse holds the place in darkness and grief. Years ago the King's only daughter, Goldhair, vanished while searching for the Christmas Star, and the Queen died of a broken heart. Nils Gaup's film puts Sonja beside the King (Anders Baasmo Christiansen), who has hunted for the star every Christmas since and found nothing.
