In 1962, a United Nations expedition sets out for Uranus, the seventh planet, with a crew of five aboard the ship. Capt. Don Graham (John Agar) leads them in, with Eric (Carl Ottosen) and Barry O'Sullivan (Ove Sprogøe) among the men. Sidney W. Pink shot it in Denmark on a budget of $75,000, and Graham begins to find that whatever waits on the planet can make what the crew imagines come true.
