Journey to the Shore

Mizuki (Eri Fukatsu) has spent three years waiting for her husband Yusuke to come home, and one night he does, as a ghost. Yusuke (Tadanobu Asano) asks her to travel with him, stopping at the people who took him in during the years he was gone. Kiyoshi Kurosawa adapts Kazumi Yumoto's novel, and in these visits grief and love turn out to be the same ordinary habit of keeping someone near.
