Juan Moreira

Juan Moreira (Rodolfo Bebán) is a mule driver in late nineteenth-century Argentina, a gaucho who works hard and keeps his head down. Men with more power keep leaning on him, the police on one side and the landowners on the other, and Leonardo Favio films the abuse as part of an ordinary working day. Each humiliation costs Moreira a little more of his name and his standing, and he is running low on both.
