Judas and the Black Messiah

“You can kill a revolutionary but you can't kill the revolution.”

Bill O'Neal (LaKeith Stanfield) is given a choice by FBI Agent Roy Mitchell (Jesse Plemons): go into the Black Panthers for the Bureau, or go to prison. In late 1960s Chicago, he works his way close to Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya), the young chairman of the Illinois chapter. Shaka King puts O'Neal at Hampton's table, trusted and fed, while Hampton falls for the poet Deborah Johnson (Dominique Fishback) just down the hall.
