In early-2000s Tokyo, the jujutsu sorcerers Satoru Gojo (voice: Yuichi Nakamura) and Suguru Geto (voice: Takahiro Sakurai) are tasked with protecting Riko Amanai (voice: Anna Nagase), a girl marked for sacrifice by a religious cult. The two young men move through constant threat, their power barely enough to keep her alive. What binds them together on this mission begins to fracture what they are to each other.
