Jumbo

Jeanne (Noémie Merlant) works nights as a guard at an amusement park, shy and still living in close step with her mother Margarette (Emmanuelle Bercot). When the park installs a new ride called Jumbo, she starts to feel a romantic attachment to it that she has never felt for a person. Zoé Wittock treats that love as real and lets it sit inside an ordinary family, where wanting a love your mother can't understand is its own kind of loneliness.
