Izzy Daniels (Corbin Bleu) trains every day to win the Golden Glove, the boxing prize his father, Kenneth (David Reivers), once chased. Then his friend Mary (Keke Palmer) asks him to fill in for a missing member of her Double Dutch team, and he finds he likes the rope more than he expected. Paul Hoen follows Izzy as he tries to hide that from his father, with the tournament and Kenneth's expectations both closing in.
