Dr. Alex Hesse (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a fertility researcher who needs one thing to save his lab: a human test subject for Expectane, the drug he and his partner Dr. Larry Arbogast (Danny DeVito) built for expectant women. With no volunteers and the funding about to vanish, he takes the embryo himself, sure it's only three months. Ivan Reitman puts the big man in maternity clothes, and Alex finds out what he's signed up for one craving at a time.
