Alex (Kev Adams) has loved Sandra (Nora Arnezeder) since they were children and has never once managed to speak to her. His one lead is Antoine (Franck Dubosc), a lonely writer who, years ago, was the only man to win over Sandra's mother. Pascal Bourdiaux follows Alex as he turns up at Antoine's door, hoping the older man's old success can be taught, and keeps waiting for the nerve to do it himself.
