Humanity has engineered itself into long life and lost the ability to have children, and the clones that rule the bottomless underworld below may have become fertile. Parton (Takahide Hori) is chosen to descend through a labyrinth crawling with monsters and find out. Takahide Hori built the film from some 140,000 stop-motion shots, and if Parton fails, there is no one left to try.
