Kwon Nam-woo (Park Hyung-sik), Juror #8, expects to be done by afternoon: a matricide case already looks settled on what appears to be conclusive evidence. It is Seoul, September 2008, the first time ordinary citizens have been called to a courtroom as jurors, and President Judge Kim Joon-gyeom (Moon So-ri) presides over them.
