In France around 2000, Laurent (Cyrille Thouvenin) shares a flat with his best friend Carole (Caroline Veyt), a year after his gay cousin died of hepatitis. Then he meets Cédric (Stéphan Guérin-Tillié), a plant scientist, and falls for him, while his conservative parents still know nothing. Christian Faure builds this television drama around one question, whether a man can be honest with the people who raised him.
