Just Friends

“He loves her. She loves him not.”

Chris Brander (Ryan Reynolds) is a Los Angeles music executive who gets stuck in his New Jersey hometown at Christmas, where he runs straight into Jamie Palamino (Amy Smart), the best friend he loved in high school. Roger Kumble stages the reunion as a series of small humiliations, with the old friend zone waiting for him in every room. Chris used to be the heavy kid she hugged goodbye, and he is determined to prove he is someone else now.
