Just Like Heaven

“It's a wonderful afterlife.”

David Abbott (Mark Ruffalo) just wants a quiet start in his new San Francisco apartment, and instead finds Elizabeth Masterson (Reese Witherspoon) standing in his living room, insisting the place is hers. Then she vanishes, and keeps coming back, and he decides she must be a ghost, while she is certain she's alive. Mark Waters plays the whole mix-up as a light, sunny comedy, with the apartment as its main stage.
